On average, the men started perspiring faster than the women. By the middle of the trial, the men were perspiring twice as much as the women while in the middle of exercising.

The men who demonstrated the highest physical training status perspired the most, while the same factor used was less prominent in the ‘glowing’ group of women who demonstrated the highest physical training status as the men.

This can make men look less cool than women while working out in the gym – but this means that men’s bodies are working more effectively.

That’s a lot of sweat to be lost!
